For those ready to begin practicing at a deeper level, this offering provides the foundation for all your yoga practices, supporting them by cultivating subtle body awareness and connection.
To have deeper, embodied experiences, we must be attuned to our own prana (life force) and subtle body (energy channels). Sensitivity to prana is the foundation for all practice. Advancing in yoga is not about difficult asanas, but about becoming more sensitized to the subtle body, so we can use subtler techniques such as meditation and mantra.
During this live practice and extra resources, you will learn to refine your awareness, turn the senses inward, and enter your inner world where the physical meets the spiritual. Before we can fully receive higher energies, our body and mind need to be properly prepared. This means developing the strength and sensitivity to hold and circulate prana (the life force energy) and to be open and receptive to the Divine/Source/God.
Through understanding the descent of consciousness and your energetic body, you will begin to understand yourself on a deeper level and become more in tune with who really you are.
Attuning to your subtle body also makes you more sensitive to your thoughts and emotions, allowing to you live more authenticity and in alignment to how you feel.
If you want to be truly attuned to the subtle world, you need to attune your subtle body.
Regardless of your faith or how you experience God or Source, Kriya guides you from the external senses to the subtle body, bridging the physical and spiritual.
Each time you attune to your subtle body, your inner world expands, and with it, your receptivity, clarity, and intuition.
Once you learn these two fundamental Kriya techniques, you will have the base upon which all deeper practices are built. Kriya Yoga is the science of using pranayama (breath) and concentration (mind) to become sensitized to your own life force, directing it through the channels of the subtle body.
This is not something achieved instantly, it develops through steady, consistent practice, your will, determination, and the effort you devote. Spiritual knowledge alone is not enough, it must be embodied and felt.
