Maha Mantra
Chanting the holy names for liberation,
devotion, and deep inner transformation.
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare
This is the Mahāmantra—the great mantra for liberation in this age of Kali Yuga.
The word Hare calls out to divine energy—Srimati Radharani, the compassionate internal power of Krishna. Without Her, there is no real access to Krishna. She is His heart, His shakti.
Krishna means the all-attractive one—sweet, playful, and full of loving charm.
Rama points to Madhava—Krishna in His most intimate, loving aspect, especially in the mood of Vrndavana
When we chant this mantra, we are calling out to Radha and Krishna, asking to be engaged in Their loving service. We’re not asking for wealth or relief—we're asking to remember Them, to love Them, and to serve Them.
In Kali Yuga, chanting this mantra is the simplest and most powerful path to liberation. No rituals, no qualifications—just the sincere sound of the holy names, chanted with feeling.
As the names settle in the heart, something soft begins to awaken—a deep longing, a sweetness, a remembrance of who we truly are. This is the hidden gift of the Mahamantra. It doesn’t just free us from suffering—it leads us back to divine love.
The Mahamantra was shared by Srī Caitanya Mahaprabhu, an incarnation of Krishna who appeared 500 years ago to teach love of God through chanting. Taking the mood and golden form of Radha, He made this mantra the most powerful path for spiritual awakening in Kali Yuga.

“When you are present, you are transcendent of the mind and ego and so you can witness your mind and ego. You can be conscious of your thoughts without being lost in them when they arise.”
