हृदय — HṚDAYA

Divine Centre: The open, luminous heart, the source of intuition and Supreme Self.

HṚDAYA: a luminous heart, a centre of light. Cultivated through devotion, consistent sādhanā, awareness, and alignment with one’s true nature (ātma).

Hṛdaya: the luminous center of your being. The inner core where devotion, presence, and consistent sādhanā live. It is the seat of consciousness, where ātman, your true self, resides and guides you.

In this space, intuition, clarity, and understanding naturally arise. By turning inward and cultivating awareness, the heart opens, the mind settles, and energy flows freely. Hṛdaya is the source of love, compassion, and insight, providing the foundation for living aligned with your higher nature.

Through steady practice, reflection, and devotion, this centre of light becomes the source of connection, to yourself, to the divine, and to life. It is the inner space where authenticity, guidance, and the presence of your own consciousness can be fully felt.

The Subtle Foundation of Radiance: Sattva

This month, we cultivate Sattva — the inner clarity and harmony from which true radiance, Kanti, arises. It is nourished through devotion, balanced breath, and centered awareness.
It grows when energy is steady and the mind is pure.

Sattva creates the inner environment from which Kanti arises.

In a sattvic state, the mind becomes luminous, the heart steady, and life aligned from the inside out. Your choices become clear, and radiance flows through the subtle layers of your being, effortlessly.

Sattva is a quality to nourish and embody.

This month’s sadhana invites you to feel sattva through your body, breath, practice, and devotion.
A moonlit return to essence.

Cultivate Kānti: The Luminous Self

Your core practice for cultivating Kānti, the soft, luminous radiance that arises from a clear, calm mind, a sattvic inner environment, and a rested, nourished nervous system.
This moon-inspired class invites gentle asana and grounding forward folds to soothe the nervous system and restore harmony. As you move with breath and presence, you begin to embody a clearer, quieter inner world, one where Kānti, the radiance of sattva, reveals itself.
With devotion and inner radiance, it awakens a soft, luminous moonlike glow, a return to your Luminous Self.

Practice everyday throughout the month to fully embody this radiant presence. Use the sadhana checklist as your guide.

A calming, lunar breath practice that activates the ida nāḍī, the channel of cooling, restorative energy. By inhaling through the left nostril, this practice soothes the nervous system, balances prāṇa, and invites a soft, sattvic glow from within. A simple way to return to stillness and embody the luminous Self.

Chandra Bhedana Prāṇāyāma

Ajapa Japa means "the unspoken repetition" - a subtle, continuous awareness of mantra that flows with the breath. In this practice, we attune to the natural sound of the breath as So'ham (I am That) - a mantra that connects the individual self with the universal.

With each inhalation, the sound So arises; with each exhalation, Ham - guiding the mind inward, calming the nervous system, and awakening a luminous inner presence.
