Morning practice to get up and go / 20 mins

This is the perfect morning practice to either do as a stand-alone practice on its own or before your asana or meditation practice. If you’re having one of those mornings where it’s hard to wake up and get going, this will give you a boost of energy and inspiration. This practice stimulates the nervous system, increasing blood circulation and oxygenation throughout the body. It removes any blockages in the body/nadis, and clears the pathways for prana to flow freely.

Practice notes: If you on your cycle, pregnant, or having digestive issues do not practice this.
Preferably practice in the morning as it’s very stimulating and not suggested before sleep.

Nervous System Reset /

Nadi Shodhana, also known as Alternate Nostril Breathing, is a powerful yogic technique that not only balances the brain's hemispheres but also provides a reset for the nervous system. By alternating the breath between nostrils, it promotes relaxation, clears energy channels, and enhances mental clarity. This practice reduces stress, improves focus, cultivates inner harmony, and supports a reset of the nervous system.

As you engage in Nadi Shodhana, you invite a gentle and rhythmic flow of breath through each nostril, bringing balance to the body and mind. This balanced breath pattern activates the parasympathetic nervous system, also known as the "rest and digest" response. It helps to reduce the impact of stress, release tension, and create a sense of calmness throughout the entire system.
